Crafty Vaporizer Review

Crafty Vaporizer Review

The Storz & Bickel Crafty vaporiser doesn't fail to employ the same award-winning recipe as the rest of the Storz & Bickel line. It's not news that S&B are well-known for producing high-quality vaporisers, the powerhouse behind groundbreaking vapes and one of the greatest producers on the market.

We believe that this novel tool, Crafty Vaporizer is unrivalled in the field of portable vaporisers. If you're looking for something with the power and quality of Storz & Bickel vaporisers, but in a more portable package, Crafty is up to standard.

Let's take a better dive into this, shall we?

Crafty vaporiser background

The Crafty vaporiser is a powerful portable vape manufactured in Germany by Storz & Bickel. Since the introduction along with its twin, Mighty, in 2014, they have been two of the most powerful portable vaporisers available.

Manufacturing quality

Crafty is robust, easy to use, and performs admirably in every manner. Not to mention its general style and exterior design, which is evocative of its larger brother, the Mighty Vaporiser. It's also constructed to last, with a solid plastic outer shell and a sturdy makeup, so it's not just designed to look nice but also to endure a long time, which we appreciate, especially since we're all a little clumsy at times.

With Crafty, Storz and Bickel wanted to provide the public with a dynamic vaping experience, so they developed it to be compatible with both concentrates and dry herb and have both convection and conduction heating, which is a truly remarkable feature. This makes it one-of-a-kind at the time of its release.

Design

No doubt, Crafty exudes superb German design; the entire item is made of engineering-grade plastic and coated in heat sink fins- well-made and durable. This basic design means there's less possibility of wear and tear, breakages, and so on.

How it works

Crafty is a joy to use, delivering a sweet and powerful dose every session. All you have to do is push the button and wait for the LED to change colour and the device to vibrate.

While the Crafty is heating up, the LEDs will become red. The default temperature setting warms up in 90 seconds, and you'll be informed when it has achieved your preferred temperature by a slight vibration and the LEDs turning green.

Battery life

The battery structure is nicely designed and constructed, although the batteries could have been replaceable, which would have been ideal. An internal, rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery powers the Crafty and gives it life.

When the battery is entirely depleted, it only takes around 2 hours to recharge fully. You tend to get about 45 minutes of real usage time from a full charge before it dies. Users can vape for 12-15 minutes, which works out to approximately three sessions per charge.

Charging

Your Crafty is chargeable through a USB cable and wall outlet, but you can also get the always-useful vehicle adaptor. When the battery dies, plug it in for 120 minutes (about 2 hours), and you're good to go as if nothing had occurred.

It's fair to say that having to charge for twice as long as the battery life is inconvenient, and many of us would want it to be considerably shorter. However, if you consider the nature of the battery, it appears to be worthwhile.

Portability

The Crafty has a carriable size and weight, making it easy to put into any pocket or bag while weighing as little as possible. Because of its small size, the Crafty fits great in carrying cases for more protection on the go.

Ease of use

The Crafty features a simple design with a few buttons, LED indications, and vibration indicators that make it easier to operate.

This powerful gadget embodies an automatic cutoff option that is just a minute long; however, the vaporiser can detect when you're drawing the majority of the time and will reset the timer. If it does turn off, it will vibrate to alert you, and it will become hot again after a few seconds of being turned back on.

The sweetest aspect of the Crafty is that it includes a grinder and another plastic canister that clamps into its top and allows you to fill the chamber without making a mess.

There's also a pick tool on the gadget beneath the usual USB charging port if you get some product wherever it shouldn't be.

Maintenance

Trust us, cleaning the Crafty is a breeze because everything comes apart with no effort. Extra seals and screens are supplied in the package.

This entire item disassembles into a slew of smaller parts, thanks to a sliding lock mechanism in the instructions manual, allowing you to clean in all the nooks and crannies. The cooling/mouthpiece assembly will need to be cleaned frequently since it is the only area where tarry residue may accumulate.

What's in the box?

In every Crafty package, you'll find the following:

-1 Inventive Vaporiser

-1 power adapter with USB cable

-1 Liquid Pad 3 Spare Screens

-1 Cleaning Brush 1 Storz & Bickel Grinder

-1 Filling Aid

-1 set of spare seal rings

-Instructions for use

Performance

When you remove the top section/lid, you get to see the herb chamber; it's a pretty fantastic design, and the operation is exceptionally fluid.

The herb chamber on the Crafty has a capacity of about 0.3g. You don't have to grind your material incredibly fine to get decent results with this vaporiser. A filling instrument also serves as a handy storage container that can hold enough ground up herb for roughly three full sessions.

The Crafty switches off automatically one minute after the last button push. A slight vibration signals its power off, and the charged state is shown.

Vapour quality

Crafty comes with a difference; its vapour is thick from the first pull and does not disappoint. It also has an effortless draw ranging from minimal to no resistance compared to most portable vapes.

Warranty

S&B gives a chance to reach them if three months have passed and you are still experiencing manufacturing faults with your Crafty.
