Despite stiff competition, American manufacturer DaVinci has put together a string of successful runs in the vape market. One of its most successful devices was the DaVinci IQ. The manufacturer managed to build off the success of this device to build an even smaller device – the DaVinci Miqro.

How The DaVinci Miqro Works

The Miqro has a more streamlined operation process than the IQ and is easier to work with and operate.

Start by opening the chamber and packing it with finely ground herb. You can tap it down slightly to help with its conductive properties.

Adjust the pearl according to the bowl size you want to hit, reseal the lid and turn the unit on using the power button. Adjust the temperature using the selected controls. The LED display makes this process a breeze. Once everything is set, it takes about 40 seconds for the device to heat up, after which you can start enjoying your vaporised herb.

Temperature Flexibility

Even with the smaller size, the Miqro maintains the versatility and temperature control of the IQ. It has four preset ‘Smart Paths’ that you can choose from. You also have full and precise control between 176-222⁰C.

Vapour Quality

Whether you’re going for long draws or small, quick hits, the vapour production is amazing, considering the size of the device. The clouds produced are above average, and the flavour is on point, especially given that this is a conduction heater. It's hard to find a device that delivers the same performance at the same exact performance with the same size.

The bowl on the Miqro is smaller than on the IQ. When fully packed, it is about 0.2grams. It is just enough for one person or two, depending on your vaping tendencies. You might need to reload for larger groups.

If larger rips and cooler vapour are a priority for you, you can pair the device with a bubbler that will cool down the vapour and provide larger and smoother hits.

How to use the DaVinci MIQRO vaporiser

• Open the chamber, fill it with your choice of herb, and then close.
• To power-up, the MIQRO clicks the power button five times
• Once powered, use the power button to switch between the Smart Path, precision heating, and boost modes
• Use the up and down buttons for selecting the Smart Path/temperature modes
• Once the chamber's heating is completed (roughly 40 seconds), begin inhalation!

There are three buttons on the unit: One is the power button, and the others offer up and down controls for the smart paths and temperature. The settings make it easy to customize the vaporizing temperature to your preferences.

There's also a standby and boost mode—excellent for increasing the temperature for the last few hits in a vaping session.

Boost mode

Boost mode will increase the temperature until it reaches its maximum and keep it at that level as long as you hold the button.

Standby

Standby mode quickly cools the vaporizer to help keep your weed dry and which helps conserve battery life. After being left in standby mode for two minutes, the MIQRO will turn off.
