ARIZER ArGo Kit

The Ariza Go is also fondly referred to as the ArGo in the vaping world. It's a dry herb vaporiser created by Canadian-based manufacturer Arizer, the same one known for making the famed desktop vapes like the V Tower and the Extreme Q.

The ArGo was first released in 2018. It has been around for a while, which means vapers have had more than enough time to try the device and see what it has to offer.

So far, the ArGo seems to be holding on well, like the rest of the Arizer releases. Since the ArGo has a strong line-up of products, the expectations are high. Luckily, even this little device doesn't disappoint.

The ArGo comes in a comprehensive kit that provides you with all the accessories and spares you need to last you a good while. The standard ArGo kit will come with the following:

Design and Feature

The ArGo is a handsome little device. It's made using a combination of hard plastic and anodised aluminium parts. It's best described as a sleek, compact device with clean lines and an alluring two-tone monochromatic finish.

The vaporiser is just 4 inches tall and easily slides into your pockets. It’s amazingly portable and pocket-friendly.

Its short mouthpiece and mouthguard go a long way in reducing the size of the device to make it easier to use on the go.

On earlier Arizer vaporisers, the oven sat at the top end of the device. The glass stem was exposed, sticking several inches out of the body. The position of the oven has not changed on the ArGo, and it is for the same purpose as it has always been on the other devices, to make loading your herb extremely easy.

The device is made using neutral materials that keep the vapour pure and don’t influence the flavour of the vapour. 

Because the device has a glass mouthpiece, it also has a handy and convenient mouthpiece guard that surrounds and conceals the mouthpieces. It pops into and off the device and protects the mouthpiece from breaking.

Battery Performance

Battery performance is critical with portable vapes. The ArGo is powered by a single 18650 battery with a commendable battery life that lasts up to 90 minutes. This is the average for most portable vaporisers. Fully charging the battery will take about three and a half hours. This is above average.

The battery is removable and replaceable, ensuring you have a lifetime of fun with your new device.

If you don't feel like waiting for the battery to charge, you can buy a backup that you can easily swap with the drained battery. Even better, you can also buy a 18650 battery charger, so you always have fully charged backups.

Temperature Controls

Portable vaporisers are not known to have the most precise temperature controls. The Arizer Go looks to change this. The device can operate in temperatures as low as 50⁰C and as high as 220⁰C. Most vapers linger around 180 - 200⁰C. Most vapers attest that the temperature has a perfectly balanced flavour to vapour density ratio in this range.

The ArGo allows you to customise your vaping preference in increments of one by pressing either the + or – buttons. You can also increase the temperature in increments of 10⁰C at a time by holding either button for 10 seconds.

Performance and Vapour Quality

The ArGo has outstanding vapour quality because of the convection/ conduction heating system and the glass mouthpiece.

The vapour gets a little warmer in the ArGo because of the shorter mouthpiece and proximity to the battery and the heating element. But it never feels uncomfortable. The heating time for the device is commendable and takes about a minute, give or take to get to your selected temperature.

The device has a surprisingly low draw resistance allowing you to take deep and long draws. All you have to do to keep enjoying these types of draws is keep the mouthpiece and the screen clean.

Cleaning and Maintenance

As with every other vaporiser, the ArGo requires regular cleaning and maintenance. Luckily, it’s a low maintenance machine. The device is loaded by dipping the mouthpiece onto the herbs, so there’s not herb chamber to worry about. All you have to do is ensure you clean the mouthpiece after several uses.

Using a Q-tip is the fastest way to clean the inner surface of the mouthpiece. For a more thorough clean, you can dip the Q-tip in Isopropyl alcohol.
